Blazer Jobs is partnering with a collaborative and student-centered school district in Montgomery, Alabama, to hire multiple full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 20252026 school year. About the Role
The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will help students reach their IEP goals while building confidence and independence in their communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP objectives.

Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support communication strategies in the classroom.

Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and district guidelines.

Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team collaborations.
Qualifications

Active or pending Alabama SLP license.

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs will be considered.

Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $45$50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
